Possible side effects from famciclovir may include:

headache
fatigue
nausea
vomiting

Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:

nausea or vomiting
a headache
diarrhea
dizziness
tingling in your hands or feet
itching

If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately:

an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives)
